ART Intensives are designed to provide deep, focused therapy sessions in a shorter, more flexible format. These 2-3 hour sessions allow you to work through your symptoms and goals in a way that fits your preferred schedule and treatment timeline. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, ART Intensives offer a customized approach to progress faster without the extended wait or interruption of shorter sessions.
This focused format eliminates time spent:
Repeating updates or checking in at the start of each session.
Managing immediate crises or concerns unrelated to your primary goals.
Overemphasizing coping skills you may not need after healing.
Regaining composure at the end of a session, as the intensive format integrates this naturally.
With ART Intensives, you can address your challenges and work toward meaningful progress in a single, extended session tailored to your needs and schedule.

Before starting Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) intensive work, we’ll meet for a Pre-Intensive Session to clarify your goals and explore your current stressors, support system, and coping strategies. Together, we’ll identify the areas where you want relief or growth.
During the ART Intensive, we’ll focus on reducing emotional pain while enhancing positive emotions, thoughts, and memories through deep-level brain processing and personalized strategies. This work may address past or present relationships, significant events, or future concerns, tailored to your unique needs.
Afterward, a Post-Intensive Session will help reflect on progress, integrate insights, and ensure lasting benefits, aligning your intensive with meaningful and lasting healing goals.

More Questions You May Have
-
Weekly therapy often involves 10-15 minutes of check-ins, 20-30 minutes of processing, and 10-15 minutes of closing—meaning it can take months and thousands of dollars to resolve a single issue.
In contrast, intensive therapy condenses the process into a half-day session, with 2-3 hours of deep processing, often resolving one or more stressors for much less money. It’s more efficient and cost-effective, as it allows for quicker resolution, fewer sessions, and less time away from work or childcare.

Yes, many insurance companies (typically PPOs) reimburse part of psychotherapy costs, though I am considered an out-of-network provider.
To fully understand your benefits, it's best to check your policy details beforehand, including coverage for out-of-network providers and whether multiple hours of therapy in a single day or week are reimbursed.
I will provide a Superbill for all direct contact therapy services included in the program.
Please note, insurance requires a diagnosis code for treatment. I recommend calling the customer service number on your insurance card for specific plan details.
